What is new?

  • A new Protected Activity Areas table and map layer under Wildlife Support. #1235
  • ARU and ASU records now carry a Verified Species field, with detail views for both record types. #1354
  • ASU records and their import have been reworked to use human-readable export files, and no longer depend on the ASU species lookup table. #1355
  • The ASU importer now accepts the new export format alongside the existing one. #1749
  • Report Builder now covers Audio Placement, ARU Records, ASU Records, Camera Placement and Camera Review. #1750
  • The map reloads affected layers automatically after an edit, so renamed records show their new values without closing and reopening WBIS. #1753

What has been fixed?

Map

  • Shapefiles that were never saved to the geo are no longer imported when the map opens. #1519
  • The panel layout no longer gets stuck with Layers and Feature Info closed, returning that way every session. #1696
  • The Botanical Elements layer no longer empties after copying a Point of Interest to a Plant of Interest. #1765
  • Select Geographic on a vector tile layer now fills the table instead of showing no records. #1775
  • WBIS no longer crashes during the automatic map refresh after the computer wakes from sleep. #1787

Reports and exports

  • Exporting a selection of Plant of Interest points no longer fails with a cast error. #1603
  • Selecting Site Calling in Report Builder no longer exhausts memory and stops the application responding. #1605
  • Photo Export no longer includes photos belonging to deleted records. #1759
  • Saving a report whose name contains a character that is not valid in a filename now tells you which characters are not allowed, instead of failing. #1772
  • THP/Forester documents now match the legacy layout. #1776
  • The two CameraSurveyResult shapefile columns no longer hold the same value. #1777
  • SPI Wildlife Sightings, SPOW, NOGO and GGOW shapefiles now export with their attributes filled in. #1781

Records and imports

  • Changing a survey area type now saves. #1122
  • The Wildlife Survey Area import no longer locks up during field mapping. #1135
  • Saving an attribute edit from the map no longer throws a UNIQ_ID error. #1540
  • The Column Chooser now offers Deleted and Repository columns on tables that have those toggles. #1762

Sign-in and notifications
